The shorter excursion to what we call “Viewpoint Ormos Bay” can be done on foot or by bike from the Pantheon. You can choose to walk or cycle a slightly more complicated route by passing to the small chapel of Agios Georgios and then continue down past the valley’s waterways with a little bit of nature, orange trees and olive groves and up the other side to the viewpoint. Alternatively, you can take the slightly easier route, especially if you have chosen to cycle, by following the main road east for about 2 kilometers and then turning left on the dirt road up to the viewpoint.
On the hike/bike ride, you pass older and younger olive groves and other crops that are cultivated together with the valley, mountains and view of the bay.
On the way back you go straight out towards the beach if you walk, with a bicycle you turn left towards the beach after 5-00 meters on the way back. The excursion can then end with a swim somewhere on Ormos Marathokampo beach, before returning to the Pantheon.
